What to Expect from an X-ray Exam

  • Completion of necessary medical forms from front desk

  • Secure change rooms and two-piece scrubs provided for patients to change into store belongings

  • Be taken into an exam room and asked to be seated on cushion table

  • Exam will be between 5 to 30 minutes long

  • Images are taken during this time and you may be asked to reposition yourself in order to obtain several views.

  • It is key to stay still during the obtaining of these images as they will otherwise become blurry

  • Once the exam is completed you can go back to your normal routine and activities

  • Your x-ray results from the exam will be given to your primary physician thereafter
