Preferred Urgent Care offers quality walk-in care for a wide range of non-life threatening illness and injuries such as flu, fractures, abscesses, infections, sprains, and allergies. Conveniently located in Katy at the corner of Hwy 99 and Bay Hill in the same shopping center as Kroger, we are open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. We also provide after-hour care whenever your primary care doctor’s office is closed. We care for residents within the greater Cinco Ranch, Falcon Point, Fulshear, Grand Lakes, Seven Meadows, Brooks Ranch, Simonton, and Westin Lakes areas.

Preferred Urgent Care provides an excellent alternative to emergency rooms for treatment of non-life threatening health conditions. We accept all major insurances and there is no appointment necessary. Unlike emergency rooms who charge an average of $3500 for a procedure with typical co-pay of $200-$500 per visit, you can expect your co-pay at our facility to be between $25-$75 per visit, depending on your insurance provider and annual deductible. For uninsured or self-pay patients, we offer a competitive transparent pricing model ranging from $185 to $200, depending on the reason for the visit. We believe that when you have urgent healthcare needs, you shouldn’t have to be burdened by the financial responsibility.
